The reception and display are processes independent from each other and at any one time only one of the processes is performed. The display remains unchanged during the reception. Always the latest received data are displayed as long as no further data are being received within a set time period. The received data are stored in a temporary memory. The process of reception has a priority over the process of display. The received data are messages of the real time oriented operating system.
