An image conversion device for a vehicle rearward-monitoring device, which converts using a conversion table the rearward image of a vehicle, photographed by a camera mounted on the vehicle for photographing the rearward view of the vehicle, into an output image obtained as if by photographing the rear view at a preset inclination from a virtual camera position different from a real camera-mounted position, and displays the output image on a monitor (4). In addition, a steering start guide-line, a steering distance guide mark, a vehicle-width guide-line and a vehicle path guide-line may be superposed on this output image for displaying on the monitor (4).
