A microscopic operation assisting device which is adapted to improve the efficiency of various operations with respect to an object on the stage, and reduce tiredness in both body and mind of the operator doing such operations. It includes a display (12) for displaying an image by using a video signal sent from a magnified image pick-up means for imaging an object (1) on the stage (2), thus enabling an operator (14) to view the real image of the object (1) on the stage (2) and a magnified one displayed on the display (12) at the same time.
