The present invention relates to the animation of miniature objects. Its subject is a device for animating miniature objects, including a baseplate (3), above which is placed a presentation plate (1) carrying the objects (18) to the animated in an aerial or liquid medium, the baseplate (3) and the presentation plate (1) being assembled so that they can be detached from each other, characterised in that it also includes: - an intermediate plate (10) equipped with means making it possible to impart to it movements parallel to its plane, and including one or more openings (14); - magnets (13) placed on the baseplate (3), in line with the openings (14); the objects to be animated being equipped with a metal component.
