<p>A novel polymerization catalyst for polyesters which contains no antimony compounds. The catalyst comprises an aluminum compound and a phenol compound, and is used as a polymerization catalyst in producing a polyester. The polyester is applicable to clothing fibers, fibers for industrial materials, various films and sheets, various moldings such as bottles and engineering plastics, coating materials, adhesives, etc.</p> |
