PURPOSE: An optimal recording method of an optical recording media is provided to perform OPC(optimal power calibration) using test regions of the optical recording media, thereby minimizing jitter of playback signals. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(100) reads a reference optical power value recorded on an optical recording media(10). On the basis of the optical power value, the microcomputer(100) varies a write optical power value, and tentatively writes data to the first section of a test region on the optical recording media(10). The microcomputer(100) reproduces the data recorded on the first section, and confirms an optimal write optical power value from a character of a reproducing signal. The microcomputer(100) uses the optimal optical power value, and varies a form of a write signal to the second section after the first section of the test region to tentatively write data. The microcomputer(100) reproduces the data recorded on the second section, and confirms/memorizes an optimal write strategy from the character of the reproducing signal. |
