PURPOSE: A television set having a remote controller is provided to mount a touch pad or a touch liquid crystal screen on a remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller(20) includes a touch pad. The remote controller(20) includes a location detector(23) for detecting a location signal according to a push of the touch pad and a controller(21) sends a menu screen control signal corresponding to the location signal detected by the location detector(23) to a TV body(10). The TV body(10) displays a set menu screen according to a location signal from the touch pad. The TV body(10) includes an image processor(12) for processing an input broadcasting signal, a controller(11) for controlling the image processor(12) to display a menu screen according to a menu screen control signal from the remote controller(20), and a screen display device(13) for displaying the menu screen processed by the image processor(12).
