PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a pin-type socket by which an electric inspection can be conducted at a comparatively low cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of inspection pins 6 are formed upward projecting over the upper surface of a printed board 1 on the upper side 5-1 of a pin board, and the inspection pins 6 are connected with electric terminals 3 of a socket part 2 projecting over the upper surface of the printed board 1 to be inspected. A plurality of inspection pins 6 are formed downward projecting over the lower surface of the printed board 1 on the lower side 5-2 of the pin board, and the inspection pins 6 are connected with electric terminals 3 of a socket part 2 projecting over the lower surface of the printed board to be inspected. The respective electric terminals 3 of the socket part 2 are energized and inspected between the inspection pins 6 of the upper side 5-1 of the pin board and those of the lower side 5-2 of the pin board.
