FINGER BRAILLE SYSTEM

A finger braille system capable of correctly transmitting information (especially information through communication means, communication such as news, mass media, the Internet, and so forth) to a visually-handicapped vocally-challenged person in real time and enabling a visually-handicapped vocally-challenged person to communicate the intention including emotion of the person. In an aspect of the invention, a finger braille system comprises a finger braille input unit for inputting a character by strike by a finger, a communication system for transmitting data on a combination of strikes and a combination of the duration and strength of the strike, and a finger braille output unit for correctly outputting information or information with intonation information to the body surface of the receiving person in the form of finger braille according to the transmitted data. In another aspect of the invention, a finger braille system comprises a character information converting unit for converting character information received from a character information source to character data including intonation data relevant to the character information and a finger braille output unit for outputting information with intonation in the form of finger braille according to the character data.
