The lamp has lamp pins on one side on which mounting sleeves can be fitted to bridge starter and change from 50 Hz choke-starter mode to energy-saving HF technology at 20 kHz to 45 kHz. The lamp has one side with lamp pins (7,8) connected via a coil (6) and via two lamp holders (10,9) to a 180 to 240 Volt mains voltage and the other side of the lamp with lamp pins (12,13) and a coil (11) connected to only one high frequency line (65) that is connected to the lamp pin via a contact point (14) in a circuit board hole (69). Mounting sleeves (15,16) on the lamp pins bridges the starter and changes from 50 Hz choke-starter mode to energy-saving HF technology at 20 kHz to 45 kHz.
