The invention relates to a chromium catalyst used for hydrocarbon dehydrogenation and to a method for producing said catalyst. The catalyst has a structure in which the aluminum oxide has a defective crystal lattice with an interfacial distance d440=1,41-1,43 Å, whereby the catalyst components (comprising chromium, an alkaline and/or alkaline-earth metal, a modifying metal of the group including zirconium, titanium, iron, gallium, cobalt, molybdenum, manganese and tin, as well as a non-metal such as boron and/or silicon) are equally distributed in the aluminum oxide and have a structure amorphous to x-rays. The catalyst with such a structure and composition shows a higher hardness, a greater degree of activity and is obtained by soaking the stratified aluminum compound, which has an amorphous structure under x-rays and corresponding to the formula Al2O3*nH2O where n=0,3-1,5, in the compounds of catalyst components, followed by calcination at a temperature of 700-800 °C.
|
