Roller bearing unit with ABS capability in a protective arrangement with a protective cap and cover

The protective arrangement has a roller bearing unit with ABS (antiblocking system) capabilities. The arrangement has an integral angle generator connected to rotate with a rotating bearing ring (2b). The arrangement also has permanent magnet poles for coupling to an external sensor. A weak magnetic sleeve (8) is arranged on the bearing unit spaced from the angle generator such that a magnetic shield is provided to shield the angle generator from the environment. Independent claims also cover a protective cap or cover.
