HIP TREATMENT OF OXIDE CERAMICS

PURPOSE:To prevent change of color tone by accommodating an oxide ceramics in a double walled tank having the surfaces made of an oxide and carrying out HIP treatment. CONSTITUTION:A powder of 0.5-300mum particle size and a granular oxide 2 are charged in a tank 1 made of an oxide and an oxide ceramics 3 is buried in the oxide 2. The tank 1 is placed in an HIP furnace and HIP treatment is carried out.
