IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO LINC TRANSMITTERS

Amplification systems based on LINC techniques, generally using digital processing to determine phase information for two or more branches. Each branch is generally formed by a frequency synthesiser such as a PLL, preferably with a fractional or integer N divider. Amplitude information may also be determined for the branches in addition to the phase information.
