<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the operability from being impaired even in the case of a large-size original and to ensure the property to stack transferred papers in an image forming device of a space-saving structure in which the transferred paper with an image formed in the device main body is inverted and ejected onto the original cover plate of a scanner part via a paper ejecting part. CONSTITUTION:The scanner part 2 is placed in such a manner that it freely slides towards the front side of the device main body 1. The paper ejecting part 15 is provided with an ejected-paper tray 17 which truns interlocking with the opening/closing of the original cover plate 4. Even in the installed state where the back or both sides of the device main body 1 and a wall are touching, an original can be read without any hindrances by sliding/drawing the scanner part 2 to the front side. At this time, the stacking property is ensured by ejecting the transferred paper 11 onto, instead of the original cover plate 4, the ejected-paper tray 17 remaining at the paper ejecting part 15. In the case of a small-size original, the original can be read by the scanner part 2 without drawing the scanner part 2 and without the ejected-paper tray 17 imparing the operability of opening/closing the original cover plate 4.</p> |
