PURPOSE: A speaker for a television receiver is provided to prevent vibration from a main speaker from being transferred to a television receiver by making the main speaker attached and detached to and from the receiver, and to enable the main speaker to reproduce a surround-type sound without an external surround speaker as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: A coupling unit make a speaker box(30) be attached and detached to and from the outer side of a cabinet(40), and a vibration isolation unit prevent vibration from the main speaker(20) from being transferred to a television receiver in the state that the speaker box(30) is coupled with the cabinet(40). The coupling unit consists of a plurality of connection grooves(40a), a plurality of position fixing grooves(40b), a plurality of hooks and a plurality of locking members. The plurality of connection grooves(40a) and the plurality of position fixing grooves(40b) are formed at right and left sides of the cabinet(40) of the television receiver. The plurality of hooks are projected from a base(31) of the speaker box(30) and are inserted in the connection grooves(40a) so as to be taken out. The locking members are connected with the position fixing grooves(40b). The vibration isolation unit consists of a plurality of elastic members, which are attached on a bottom of the base(31) and has a front end contact with the cabinet(40).
