PURPOSE: A system for managing a music CONSTITUTION: A metainformation editor(11) enables a composer to input metainformation on a music composed by the composer. The composer edits the information on the music using the information editor(11), and transmits the information to a server(20). A music MIDI converter(12) converts the music into a MIDI form, and transmits the form to the server(20) through an internet communication network. If the composer provides the metainformation to the server(20) through a music information searching device(13), the server(20) shows music files having identical metainformation, and plays a music file which the composer wants.
