PURPOSE: A guidance voice producing apparatus is provided to make a character, which is a word item of a decided recognition object or a word to be updated, into a voice through a voice synthesizing part. CONSTITUTION: A trunk(110) processes trunk connection for termination request of a subscriber, and a switch part(120) switches a call rung up to the trunk(110) into a voice recognition part(130). The voice recognition part(130) converts a voice provided from the subscriber through the trunk(110) into digital voice data and recognizes the voice as a conversion result. A control part(140) reads a synthesizing sound from a memory part(170) according to the voice recognition result to output the read composition voice to the subscriber. The control part(140) transfers a recognition object word of a character information format received through an LAN interface part(150) into a voice synthesizing part(160) and stores a synthesizing sound generated by the voice synthesizing part(160) in the memory part(170).
