PURPOSE: A method and a device for recording data of an optical magnetic recording medium are provided to generate regenerative optical beam and recording optical beam with one optical pick-up, and to discriminate and correct errors in real time. CONSTITUTION: Regenerative optical beam and recording optical beam are generated by using one pickup. Information is recorded on a disk by the recording optical beam. A brightness detection signal indicating the brightness of the optical beams is detected by the optical beam reflected from the disk. A magnetic direction detection signal indication the magnetic direction for the information recorded on the disk is detected from the optical beam reflected from the disk. The magnetic direction detection signal is compared with the first reference voltage having a predetermined level, to generate the first pulse signal, wherein a laser driving pulse is over a recording level and a high logic is applied only when the recording information is over high logic. The bright detection signal is compared with the second reference voltage having a predetermined level, to generate the second pulse signal having a high logic only when the laser driving pulse is over a recording level. A difference signal between the first and the second pulse signals is generated. The recording information delayed as much as a delayed predetermined value and the difference signal are applied by an OR, to discriminated an error for the recording information.
