IMPACT MODIFIED GRAFT COPOLYMER COMPOSITION CONTAINING POLYPROPYLENE WITH BROAD MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION

PURPOSE: Provided is a graft copolymer composition containing polypropylene with a broad molecular weight distribution, which has improved impact resistance/rigidity balance without a substantial loss of modulus. CONSTITUTION: The impact modified graft copolymer composition comprises: (A) 10 to 90 wt% of a graft copolymer of propylene polymer material having one or more vinyl monomer(s) grafted thereto; (B) 90 to 10 wt% of at least one propylene polymer material with a broad molecular weight distribution; and (C) 2 to 40 wt% of at least one rubber component, wherein the total amount of (A)+(B)+(C) is 100%. Particularly, the propylene polymer material with a broad molecular weight distribution is a homopolymer of propylene with a broad molecular weight distribution, or a polypropylene with a broad molecular weight distribution, impacted modified with ethylene-propylene rubber.
