PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission is provided to easily control transmission gear ratio by removing centrifugal oil pressure to be generated from a hydraulic chamber. CONSTITUTION: A continuously variable transmission includes a driving pulley(3) installed to a driving shaft(1), a slave pulley(7) installed to a slave shaft(5), and a belt(9) controlling transmission gear ratio and continuously transmitting power. The driving pulley and slave pulley are variable in the diameter. Te driving pulley is equipped with a fixed side pulley(11) installed to the driving shaft, a variable side pulley(13) sliding to the opposite driving shaft and varying the diameter, and a hydraulic chamber(15) controlling moving of the variable side pulley. The slave pulley is equipped with a fixed side pulley(17) installed to the slave shaft, a variable side pulley(19) sliding to the opposite slave shaft and varying the diameter, and a hydraulic chamber(21) controlling moving of the variable side pulley. The driving pulley and slave pulley are equipped with a first and second centrifugal oil pressure control unit to remove centrifugal oil pressure and to easily control each variable side pulley.
