PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coffee beverage improved in lowering coffee flavor in its production process, suppressed in its bitterness and roast feeling, having fresh and fragrant coffee-feeling and mild taste, and also excellent in thermal durability. SOLUTION: This coffee beverage is such one as to contain emulsified coffee oil. The other objective method for producing the beverage comprises emulsifying the coffee oil obtained by squeezing roasted coffee beans, and adding the resultant coffee oil emulsion to a coffee extract solution or in preparing the coffee beverage.
