PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support system requiring no cable wiring for data communication of a position detecting/displaying device and an operation apparatus and surely performing the data communication in a position detectable state of the operation apparatus regardless of a position and an attitude of the operation apparatus. SOLUTION: An operation support system is provided with a microscope 1 for an operation, a position detecting/displaying device 2 having an optical receiver 30 and detecting/displaying a position and an attitude of the microscope for an operation and plural signal members installed in the microscope 1 for an operation and detected by the optical receiver 30, and a transmitting/ receiving part for optical communication is arranged in a range surrounded by the optical receiver 30 and the plural signal members or on a signal plate integrally constituted with the plural signal members to perform the optical communication between the position detecting/displaying device 2 and the microscope 1 for an operation. |
