SOLUTION: This heteroaryloxy(thio)alkanoic acid amide derivative is represented by the general formula [1] [W is a heteroaryl group which may be substituted by Xn; A is oxygen atom or the like; R1 is hydrogen atom or the like; R2 is 1-6C alkyl group or the like; R3 is a 2-6C alkyl group or the like; Q is ethynyl group; R4 is a 1-6C alkyl group or the like; X is 1-6C alkyl group or the like; n is an integer of 0-4]. This germicide for agriculture and horticulture contains the above acid amide derivative as an active ingredient.
