PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold a catalyst and keep dimensional accuracy in the tip of each branched pipe part in combination to facilitate the manufacture of the subject manifold. SOLUTION: In this exhaust manifold, structure wherein a portion 4 interposed with the catalyst 8 out of an upper half part 10a and a lower half part 10b split along an exhaust passage 1a is joined by welding joined flanges 12a, 12b, and wherein the remainder is welded at least in the vicinities of the tip parts of the branched pipe 2a-2d is adopted to stably hold the catalyst 8 without being applied with useless external force from an outside, and to form, in the each tip of the branched pipe parts 2a-2d, a cylindrical part 11 assembled easily with an inlet flange 6 and having the prescribed dimentional precision by absorbing dispersion of the curved branched pipe parts 2a-2d, in portions of the branched pipe parts 2a-2d.
