PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for base isolating structure, capable of fixing an upper structure to a base easily and promptly so as not to generate rolling on the upper structure by high wind at the time of a typhoon or the like, and eliminating uncomfortable and insecure feelings from residents. SOLUTION: This locking device 4 locking a stand-alone house 2 to a base 1 so as to be released in a horizontal direction H is provided with a connecting means 5 connecting a stand-alone house 2 side and a base 1 side so as not to move the stand-alone house 2 in the horizontal direction H with respect to the base 1, and an operating means 6 connecting the stand-alone house 2 side and the base 1 side by means of the connecting means 5 and releasing the stand-alone house 2 from the base 1.
