PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture optimum for fixing a metallic square cylinder to a structural member. SOLUTION: The fixture is composed of a substrate section 3a welded and fixed onto a structural member 1 and a pair of stationary plate sections 3b, 3b being bent at a right angle from both ends of the substrate section 3a, being extended in the same direction and holding the side faces 2a of a metallic square cylinder 2. Outward beads 4, 4 extending in the elongation directions of the stationary plate sections 3b, 3b are formed at opposed positions in both stationary plate sections 3b, 3b respectively while slots 6, 6 using the elongation direction of the beads 4, 4 as lengths are formed to both beads 4, 4 respectively, and both stationary plate sections 3b, 3b are brought into press-contact with the side faces 2a of the metallic square cylinder 2 by the clamping force of a bolt 5 inserted into the slots 6, 6 and penetrated to the side faces 2a of the metallic square cylinder 2.
