PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopper blade insertion adjusting device of a chopper folding machine which can adjust the insertion of a chopper blade into a chopper roller without stopping the machine according to the paper quality, paper thickness, pages, and presence/absence of chopper longitudinal perforation and presence/absence of chopper wickerwork perforation, considerably shorten the switching time, and improve the productivity. SOLUTION: This chopper folding machine comprising the chopper blade to be vertically moved to chopper-fold a carried signature, a pair of chopper rollers to be inserted between rollers together with the chopper-folded signature when this chopper blade is lowered, a space adjusting means between these chopper rollers, a belt to hold and carry the signature from the chopper rollers, an impeller device to receive the signature, and a driving means of these components, further comprises chopper rollers which are provided with a pair of vertically guided by guides fixed to inner sides of folding machine frames 121 and 133 facing each other and movable sub frames 137 and 139 and their vertically moving means, and mounted on these sub frames 137 and 139, and supporting means of the space adjusting means and the carrying belt.
