PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control in automatic operation of an automatic sprinkler system to meet the temperature of rail as well as other various conditions so as to improve the safety. SOLUTION: This system has a means to start an stop sprinkler operation to meet the temperature of rail, and at least one of a means to control the start and stop of sprinkler operation when a train enters a specified area, a means to control the start and stop by means of operation of a sprinkler starting and stopping switch, and a means to control the start and stop of sprinkler operation based on the level of water in a water reception tank.
