PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device having a carrying structure suppressed in the increase of the number of part items or the manpower of assembling from the viewpoint of the problem in an electrostatic eliminating structure for suppressing the discharge of electrostatic charge, and an image forming device using it. SOLUTION: This sheet carrying device comprises means for holding and carrying a sheet S on both side of a carrying passage and a carrying guide 11 for guiding the sheet S arranged between the holding carrying means. The carrying guide 11 is arranged in a position capable of guiding the sheet S delivered from one 2, 5 of the holding carrying means while sliding only the tip of the sheet S.
