PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porcelain composition capable of sintering at a low temperature and having a high piezoelectric constant. SOLUTION: This porcelain composition has a chemical composition of the formula PbX ZraTibPb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)yZn1/2W1/2)z }O3 (where a+b+y+z=1, a+b+y+z<x and 1.00<x <1.05). Even when the porcelain composition is sintered at a low temperature, e.g. at 1,080 deg.C, ceramics having good piezoelectric characteristics are obtained. |
