PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing ceramic porous coat, capable of stably preparing the coat containing zirconium with an advantageous cost. SOLUTION: This method for preparing ceramic porous coat comprises dissolving a zirconium compound selected from zirconium nitrate, zirconium oxynitrate, zirconium acetylacetonate and zirconium caprylate together with an alkoxide compound in a solvent to form a sol, coating a base material with the formed sol, then subjecting the base material coated with the sol to heat treatment. An alkoxide of silicon, such as tetraethoxysilane or tetraisopropoxysilane, is preferably used as the alkoxide compound. |
