PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the invasion of jellyfish into a sea water intake. SOLUTION: A device for preventing invasion of jellyfish for a sea water collecting device which is constituted by putting a curtain wall 2 on the intake 1 of a sea water intake pipe is constituted of an upper air blowing-out pipe 3 which is laid on the open sea-side surface of the curtain wall 2 and causes bubbles to ascend along the wall 2, a weir 6 which constructed on the sea bottom 4 on the open sea side of the laid position of the pipe 3, and lower air blowing-out pipes 5a and 5b which are laid on the sea bottom 4 along the weir 6. The device is also constituted of an air supplying device 7 which supplies air to the pipes 5a and 5b.
