SOLUTION: This mailbox has an eaves part 7 on the upper side of a dropping port 50 and a light source 30 is disposed in this eaves part. The illumination of various kinds of the equipment, such as the interphone equipment 2, disposed on the front of the mailbox with the irradiation light from a light source 30 is made possible.
