PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily and efficiently bake takoyaki (octopus- inserted pancake balls) containing octopus at centers without scorching. SOLUTION: Base surface 4c of recessed parts 4 of a first group disposed at a first iron plate 1 are provided with hemispherical or columnar projections 7 formed with curved surface at their top in such a manner that the formula: 0.5d<=h<=1.2d may be attained when the diameter thereof is defined as d and the height thereof as h. This first iron plate 1 is folded via hinges 3 onto a second iron plate 1 and the takoyaki is produced by the recessed parts 4 and 5 facing each other.
