PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharged urine scattering preventing device for Western-style closet capable of rotating a protector upward with a simple structure and smoothly and automatically rotating the protector upward into a using state. SOLUTION: A protector 30 formed along the circumference of the upper end of a Western-style closet 10 and rotatably locked is regularly energized upward by a weight member 40 to smoothly and automatically rotate the protector 30 upward into a using state, and the using state of the protector 30 is held by the balance between the protector 30 and the weight member 40.
