PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal type multiblade blower to reduce the generation of supply air noise and dispense with the sound attenuating means of an air-conditioning device even as the fan efficiency of a blower itself is improved. SOLUTION: A rotation axis O of an impeller 4 is situated approximately at the center of an air inlet 3 formed in a manner to open to a spiral case 2 of a centrifugal type multiblade blower 1. Two cross lines orthgonally crossing each other at the rotation axis O are specified as an X-axis and an Y-axis. A discharge axis A indicating the direction of a discharge port 10 of the spiral case 2 is directed in parallel to the X-axis. A scroll angle α of the spiral case 1 is set to a range of from 7 deg. to 13 deg.. A shutoff angle β of a straight line B, interconnecting a shutoff point C formed in a position close to the discharge port 10 of the spiral case 2 and the rotation axis O, with the X-axis is set to a range of from 25 deg. to 35 deg.. |
