PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia powder having good moldability, and capable of forming a sintered material having good physical characteristics, such as high strength, high density, etc. SOLUTION: The subject powder consists mainly of zirconia, and further has an electric conductivity of <=500 μS/cm when measured as a slurry of 30 wt.%. The zirconia which contains Y2O3 and/or Ce2O in an amount of 0.1-5 mol% and further contains Al2O3 in an amount of 0.1-1 mol% is preferably used as the raw material. |
