PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washing and drying machine capable of re-start the washing course from the process during which the operation of the machine is stopped due to a failure. SOLUTION: This dish washing and drying machine has an operation means 27 with a course selection switch 30 for selecting a washing course and a start switch 29 for outputting a washing start command and a control means 26 for executing processes in the order according to the selected washing course when the washing start command is inputted by the operation means 27 and stopping the operation when a failure is detected. When the washing start command is outputted by the start switch 29 after the operation is stopped by the detection of a failure, the control means 26 can re-start the selected washing course from the process stopped by the detection of the failure.
