PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat device for a vehicle suitably used for the vehicle and simple in connecting structure. SOLUTION: A mat body 1 laid on a vehicle mat 34 of a floor 17 of a vehicle is formed. An optical fiber 7 is disposed at the mat body 1. The optical fiber 7 and a light source are connected by a light source side optical fiber 36. The light source side optical fiber 36 is passed under the vehicle mat 34. The light source side optical fiber 36 is unexposed on the floor 17, thereby not getting in the way.
