PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device for stably forming high-quality formed glass article uniform in weight and shape, and free of defects, e.g. striae or in crystal by providing an almost conical shape over the outer periphery of the nozzle, expanding in diameter towards the molten glass discharging side, to serve as the wall to prevent molten glass from moving upwards while wetting the nozzle. SOLUTION: This device includes a nozzle 1 made of, e.g. platinum or its alloy known for its excellent properties, e.g. resistance to heat and strength, and characterized by its external shape comprising a cylindrically shaped section 10 running for a given length from the section at which the nozzle 1 is connected to a discharge pipe 2; V-shaped groove formed in the vicinity of the lower end of the cylindrically shaped section 10 in such a way to extend towards the peripheral direction; and conically shaped section 12 expanding in diameter in a conical manner from the bottom of the V-shaped groove 11 to the end plane 1b, the conically shaped section 12 functioning as the wall to prevent molten glass from moving upwards while wetting the nozzle 1.
