PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a multimeric glycoprotein, particularly a multimeric glycoprotein useful in the cultivation field of fishes, in a large quantity and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method uses a transgenic fish as a bioreactor for producing a multimeric glycoprotein, particularly a multimeric heteroglycoprotein, in a large quantity. The gene encoding this glycoprotein is derived to an expressible form in the fish cell together with the suitable expression control sequence and transduced into the fish roe. This roe continues the development and the transduced gene is expressed in the fish cell. The desirable protein formed as the result is extracted from enbryos, child fishes, fries, adult fishes and their tissues or blood. |
