PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of stopping the movement of a cutting blade by stopping the cutting blade at any position. SOLUTION: A first guide groove 4 and a second guide groove 5 provided in a holder 3 of a cutting device 1 are moved along a first guide block 6 and a second guide block 7, respectively. When the holder 3 is moved up and down aslant in the direction of view X, a cutting blade 2 cutting a cut object at a specified position is also moved up and down. A rod 10 is connected to a holder 3 through a connection mechanism 8, and a piston 11 and the rod 10 of a fluid cylinder 9 are also moved up and down in connection with the upward and downward movements of the cutting blade 2. A switching valve 12 and a check valve 13 are provided to open the check valve 13 only when the cutting blade 2 is moved upward so as to communicate a route of fluid with the fluid cylinder 9. When the switching valve 12 is turned off when the cutting blade is moved downward, the route of the fluid is shut off from the fluid cylinder 9. |
