PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-engaging twin screw type kneader for a kneading- extruding machine wherein synthetic resin material flowing along a pair of screws respectively are made molten kneaded materials uniform practically, subjected to equal shear actions, and arrive at a material discharge port, while the synthetic resin materials are prevented from stagnating in the vicinity of the surface of the bore in the fore end part of a cylinder and made free of deterioration of the quality, by making different the rotational speeds of the paired screws of the same diameter from each other. SOLUTION: In a non-engaging twin screw type kneader for a kneading- extruding machine wherein a pair of screws 21 and 22 of the same diameter are inserted horizontally and in parallel into the bore 12 of a cylinder 11 so that they can be driven to rotate and a gear pump 38 is connected in communication to one side of the fore end part of the cylinder 11 through a material discharge port, the screws 21 and 22 are made different in a rotational speed from each other so that the rotational speed of the first screw 21 located at a position far from the material discharge port 23 is lower than that of the second screw 22 located at a position near to the material discharge port 23. |
