PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance image quality by preventing variation of the mixing ratio due to the temperature of recording liquid or the atmospheric pressure when an image is formed by mixing a plurality of recording liquids to produce a recording liquid of desired density and/or color and transferring the mixed liquid to an image receptor. SOLUTION: Mixing ratio of a plurality of recording liquids is determined based on an image signal and ejection of the plurality of recording liquids is controlled using the determined mixing ratio as a target value. Actual mixing ratio is detected in the vicinity of a point where the plurality of recording liquids are joined, the detected value is compared with the target value and then feedback control is performed such that the difference goes 0. |
