PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine having a fuel injection valve capable of retraining corrosion damage of a valve element and a valve seat even if the internal combustion engine is applied to gasoline/alcohol mixed fuel and an automobile using it. SOLUTION: Even if an acid is formed when an ion such as SO2-- in spitting gas dissolves in fuel such as gasoline/alcohol mixed fuel by arranging sacrificial corrosion members 23, 24 having an ionization tendency higher than metal for forming at least a surface of a valve seat 12 and a valve element 14 of a fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine in a position for contacting with the fuel by being electrically connected to the valve seat 12 and the valve element 14, since the sacrificial corrosion members 23, 24 of the metal having an ionization tendency higher than the valve element and the valve seat are dissolved early, corrosion damage of the valve element and the valve seat can be prevented as long as the sacrificial corrosion members exist.
