PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building in which bringing-up and housekeeping are cooperatively achieved by a plurality of families to lighten the burden of the bringing-up and housekeeping for two-income families through the joint use of the external service as necessary by a plurality of families. SOLUTION: The building comprises at least two independent space units 10 adjacent to each other comprising first space parts 11-15 partitioned from the outside, and second space parts 21-24 having an opening part at least a part of which is opened outside, at least one of the first space parts 11-15 and the second space parts 21-24 is provided with a movable surface W, a part of the independent space units 10 adjacent to each other are communicated with each other via the opening part of the first space parts, the opening part of the second space parts, or the opening part opened outside in advance of the second space parts, and the communicated parts form independent spaces.
