PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-deadening band and a carrying method for a cylinder, or the like, for controlling the generation of noises. SOLUTION: Face fasteners 2 and 3 are fixed on the upper face and the back of a belt-shaped body 1 of rubber-like elasticity of a sound-deadening band A. In a carrying method for a cylinder, or the like, using the sound- deadening band A, the sound-deadening band A is wound on the outer periphery of the bomb 4 and then the bomb A is disposed properly so that the sound- deadening band A wound on the bomb 4 is brought into contact with a rear deck 5 of a carrying vehicle.
