PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for removing dust on collected products, capable of automating the reliable removal of dust adhering to the collected products while automating the operation of expanding and narrowing intervals among the collected products and taking a measure to erase static electricity. SOLUTION: When dust on collected products 4 supported by product guides 5, 6 is removed, a winding part 7' of a coiled spring 7 is inserted between peripheral flange portions 4a, 4a of the individual products and, under this condition, the coiled spring 7 is drawn to widen the interval between the individual products so as to carry out dust removing operation. After dust is removed, the coiled spring 7 is restored to return the individual products to an original state of collection.
