PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation at the selection of a menu etc., by decreasing the number of the operation switches to be disposed on the front face of the main body of a rice cooker. SOLUTION: The rice cooker is provided with the selection determination switch 23 having an operation part allowing the operation in two kinds of operation forms; rotation and depression, of a jog dial 23a etc. The rice cooking menu is displayed in a display section by a liquid crystal panel 21 so that a user can make the selection determination operation of the menu while viewing the display contents. The selection determination switch 23 is commonly used for the operation to set the cooked time in reservation operation and to correct and change the present time, by which the number of the overall switches may be decreased and the operation is simplified.
